tourist season

tourist season has barely begun and i find myself nearly in tears at 11.15 pm after a day of work (just finished) and having enjoyed a smattering of the usual summer trials & tribulations... as the kindly Mister is still at work too,  i'm jolly well going to list them here!

1)  1 huge vehicle in our turning circle when we left home to send off tax return.
2)  2 vehicles in the turning circle when we returned - had there been 2 at time of departure we could not have got out.
n.b. this is a private drive, so actually nobody should be parking here or even causing wear and tear....do you know how expensive tarmac is these days?
3) missing Jen coming down the long white path doing the Mighty Hike.
4) water pressure getting weaker and failing to get hold of any one to ensure they don't let things get so bad that we're filling the bath to flush loos and relying on a bowser for drinking and washing up like in the bad old days.
5) tourists creeping around after dark and making the Radish bark and bark and bark.
6) then finding said tourists in a mini van in the turning circle outside our gate - explained that they should not even be up this road had to listen to the usual, 'but we only came up to collect our beach stuff'.....OMG if everyone did that it would be gridlock and again explained about the shocking cost of tarmac these days.
7) half an hour later -11.00ish - they were still there! shone the torch on them and threw my hands up in disgust.  They should not be anywhere on this drive at all.
supper to cook now.  bed, god knows when ;-/
