Village wedding

We woke up this morning to torrential rain and cooler temperatures, but then the rain stopped and the heat arrived until by mid afternoon it was 32 degrees, cloudy and unbearably humid.
This week we have a wedding party staying in the gite, the groom is a very famous actor in Indonesia, and his bride, a model, the granddaughter of one of the ladies in our village. These are some photos I took outside the Mairie, although with 250 people at the wedding it was difficult to get anywhere near! The groom's parents are on the left.
