Woke late, reading Sara Baume's newest book "A Line Made by Walking", between checking on the Transpac 2017 racing towards the Diamond Head finish line for background and probable earliest finish time (altho it is truly too early to tell).   The multihulls are putting more distance between themselves and the monohulls.   Comanche  has just posted a new record for nautical miles in a 24-hour period, with an average speed of 20.2 knots.   Here's their website.
