I've been learning how to make pottery on a potter's wheel. This was one of my first, when I still had the teacher (an amazing woman turning 87 this year) beside me. I had trouble centering the clay on the potter's wheel, but after 3 lessons I got that hang of it! I've made a lot of coffee/tea mugs. Not the most beautiful in the world, but, home made. This little one became a flower pot instead, and it has a small geranium in it. I had to cut of the top of another geranium and this is it's 'baby', growing like crazy.
