Happy birthday David!

It's David Hockney's 80th birthday today and in celebration, Bradford, his home town put on a rather bonkers and creative birthday party for him at Cartwright Hall, in Lister Park, opposite Bradford Grammar school where he went to school.

I loved the 'sausage dog' balloons.... and that you could get Hocknified with a blonde wig and glasses at the Hockinification Station - and then you could dance at his birthday disco.......all in the sun.....(And there really is too little 'disco' in the world these days!)  (Loved the real sausage dog taking a sideways glance at the balloon sausage dog behind 'David')

And blipping fabulous to enjoy the company of Kit267 of course and to chat with the bride and groom whose wedding we will photographing soon.....yikes.... I know :))
