The Fishley Tree

I must admit, not going to work has got me out of the habit of going out early in search of images.  At a time when I have more time to indulge my passion for photography, I seem to be dedicating less.

I made the effort first thing, popping out to one of my favourites trees.  The farmer has recently harvested the fields on either side, so I didn't feel guilty about walking over a small part of the field to get into this position, using the tree to mask direct light from the sun.  Surprisingly, within 15 minutes the sunlight was blotted out by cloud and didn't;t reappear for more than an hour.  Then it was another hot day.
