Corn Marigolds, Poppies and Padstow

We whiled away a few happy hours in Padstow this afternoon, mooched round the harbour, ate fish’n’chips in Rick’s shed*, some more mooching and then a sit down with salted caramel ice creams to listen to the brass band.

 On the way back to base we walked along the NT footpath at  West Pentire to see the Corn Marigolds and Poppies which were slightly past their best but nevertheless still a very lovely sight.
