European Adventure Day 5: Lauterbrunnen

A cloudier, cooler day than yesterday.

After breakfast on our balcony, we slogged up the vertical path to Wengen. Everybody else was coming down! It was raining heavily at the top but we had a wander about, including a quiet sit in the English church which was lovely. Took the yellow cog train back to Lauterbrunnen before stopping for schnitzel, raclette and rosti.

We took an evening stroll to the Staubbach Falls where we climbed up behind the waterfall and got soaked!

Tomorrow we head for Venice and our lovely boy is flying over to join us for the week.
