Corstorphine Hill from Easter Craiglockhart Hill

Looking NW from above Craiglockhart above the old quarry on Easter Craiglockhart Hill. this is just a short walk from my house. Another 1/2 day that turned in to a 2/3rds.

Bottom left is the Craiglockhart Sports centre. then lines of houses along roads, and a canal, heading south west to north east, and from foreground to background. The foreground is Colinton Road. The new flats are along the canal. The open space is part of the Meggetland Sports Complex. The next row of houses are on Slateford Rd. The houses just behind are part of Hutchison.

The white / black striped just left of centre is Chesser House, Edinburgh Council offices, which is on Gorgie Road. Just in front, the brick building of Pentland House, offices used by the Scottish Government. The next large building behind Chesser House is the Edinburgh Holiday Inn Hotel on Corstorphine Rd. The row of houses to the right of, and between, the two buildings is Stenhouse.
