We had a lovely time with Gage and Montana high in he Bolgnese hills.

I managed to lock us all out of their house but the Everyman Silverio rescued us with a ladder that I gamely ascended.

The drive back down into the inferno of the Arno valley was necessarily hot with a 39C max. I couldn't stop thinking of iced water and ice cream.

We eventually rolled up at the gaff at Pelegaccio with the temp hovering at 35C. The house was a brief reservoir of cool until the desert air took over.
