The Old Road to Swanston.

Pre City of Edinburgh bypass, where I am standing was part of Swanston Road. When the A720 was constructed between Lothianburn and Dreghorn, the road was moved slightly to the east as it was easier to construct a bridge. The old Swanston Road took a more direct route to Oxgangs Rd, as can be seen on this old map.
