Old Williston....

is represented on murals that have recently been painted on a renovated building on the green.   The green has been rededicated as a Veterans Memorial.  During the year The Peanut Festival, Veterans Day, July 4th, Memorial Day, Labor Day and New Years are celebrated with decorations, bands, dances, parades, festivals, 
   "In the old days", railroads came through Williston.  The RR Station has been saved, converted to offices.  But the landings, the track paths are all still there, evidence of how life used to be in this little agricultural town.
