It suddenly occurred to me this afternoon that it's September. A bit late to realise that you might think. Not only is it September but the middle to the end of September.

Next it will October with holidays and Halloween and then the time will race along and it will be Christmas.

I like the late Autumn with the changes of colours and the nights getting darker. The worst part is leaving in the dark and returning home in the dark but the best part is being at home all cosy and warm and not feeling guilty about putting my PJs on at 7pm!

There is a harmony in autumn, and a luster in its sky, which through the summer is not heard or seen, as if it could not be, as if it had not been!
