Second Time's the Charm

I had better luck today when I went back to the ponds.  This is the first Monarch I have seen this year.  It wasn't very cooperative in posing but I did manage a few shots through the shrubs and Milkweed before it flew away.  I waited a while but it was hot and I was impatient so this is the best I could manage.  

We are planning to leave for the mountains again on Wednesday so the next two days will be busy with catching up at home and packing for the trip.  I'll try to catch up with everyone tonight but then I won't have much time for Blip until after we get home on the 22nd.  I'll still try to visit journals and sprinkle stars but I probably won't have time for many comments and once we're there my wifi will be very limited.  Thanks for understanding. :-)
