Clouds.....Mare's Tails

There was a frost on the flats but little on the hills when I went for my early walk in the Wither Hills Farm Park. I had expected to see a red sky at dawn but that was not to be. Instead the sky contained interesting clouds such as the Mare's Tail clouds seen here. A harbinger of bad weather to come? Very cold weather and snow to low levels is forecast during the next few days. I hope the bad weather is not detrimental to the lambs due to arrive any day on the Wither Hills.
