Day 46 - Turn it up
Somehow having a period of a week where no proper photographs so having to dig about on mobile phone to find photos shot for WhatsApp.
Actually a very good medium to do service / transfer info with the electrician. Two days ago we had a night thunderstorm and one strike knocked out our mains trip switch. However the PV system jumped in and via the battery kept our equipment supplied. Thus none of the normal hassle resetting radio-alarm clocks etc. However in the morning noticed the PV system had shut itself down. Quick video and WhatsApp to Stefan and we solved the problem.
So today simply my experiment turning up the immersion heater to MAX to see what temperature the boiler got to. At 70°C I stopped the experiment as the limescale build up increases markedly over 60°C. However good to see it can do more. I think the maximum before the thermostat cuts off is 95°C.
