Sangeet ceremony

Unexpectedly invited to my mother's neighbour's daughter's sangeet ceremony! Very colourful sarees and dresses, mounds of spicy food and music in singing in Indian style. The groom to be brought his family up from London in a coach laden with gifts for the bride to be. The first of several ceremonies culminating in a wedding in lake Garda in august. Stress levels high!
