Drizzly Monday
A bit of dampness this morning on our 4 mile circular walk through Goit Stock.
It was very warm though so despite it getting gradually wetter I ended up taking my coat off. It was strangely refreshing. The walk itself was quiet and calm, barely even the sound of birdsong. Most pleasant.
I only stopped once for photographs, here at the big falls. I decided to concentrate on the ferns growing out of the rocks with the falls in the background.
The sun has come through this afternoon. Garden done yesterday, house work done this morning.
Well done Joanna Konta; Murray is having his usual struggle, Le Tour on a rest day.
