Tommy weights in at 1.2 tons, Roo 4 kgs, Tommys 9ft 5 inches tall Roos 6inches.

Roo visited Tommy today on the seafront at Seaham.

Tommy was originally only stopping for a short while but the public and the council paid the£85,000 needed to keep him.
The official name of the statue is 1101 referring to the first minute of peace on armistice day.but he's know known as Tommy named after Tommy Atkins the archetype private soldier.
Sadly it's rained most of the day but we've managed to see a few things.

We managed a walk on the beach and collected a few pieces of washed up glass smoothed by the waves.
We met a lady that fell in love with Harry and couldn't stop cuddling him!
Therapy dog training is going well!!
