Pond farewell

Mostly a day of organising life. And some unexpected weeping at the extraordinary kindness of a man half a world away who refunded an unrefundable train ticket for me with human sentiment. Balanced of course by unreasonableness from a car hire firm, but adding in the hotel, it's a 2-1 victory for compassion.

This evening, after watering the garden, the difficult fish was delivered to our neighbours, along with a thank you cake - resulting in an invitation to dinner. Very fun chat, and an opportunity to empty my fridge into someone else's!

Late to bed, after a late night photo request from Mr B had me deconstructing and scanning our wedding album, and dealing with a tearful CarbBoy.
