Parent and child.

I went to the funeral of a colleague's mum today. She and I have supported one another as our mums became more frail. L. was very, very close to her mum, and is heartbroken at the moment. I came home across the hills on little toads and saw a field of cattle, cows and their calves. They are together so briefly, it seemed very poignant.
