Shlomo was limping on Friday, so I called and made an appointment with the chiropractor vet, thinking it was related to the neck problem she recently helped him with. By this morning he couldn't walk so the regular vet saw him this afternoon. They took x-rays and made diagnosis of osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of cancer that has usually metastasized by the time symptoms appear. We've run through all of the scenarios and have decided to keep him as comfortable as we can for as long as we can - which probably won't be very long and definitely won't be long enough.
I'm still so lost without Cooper - this is unimaginable.
