Mama and two baby bears!!!!  We are back from Alaska and even though it's 2 a.m., I have loaded my photos onto the computer and will have more later, but this one stood out as I was sorting through them.  We went by seaplane to Taku Lodge on an island about 30 minutes from Juneau and had lunch at the Lodge:  fresh salmon cooked over an alder wood fire outdoors.  After we went inside to have the lunch, a couple of bears, including this one, came down to the lodge and were eating bits of salmon off the grill!!!  A little while later, this Mama came down out of the tree with her cubs, had a snack on the salmon grill and then retreated to the base of the tree with the cubs.  They played for a few minutes then went back up into the tree.
