After the rain.

The road near to us has a steep bank which used to be overgrown with hawthorn and was a depository for cans and paper rubbish. Vigorous clearing took place earlier this year,and I was fearful for the plants which had been heavily trodden on. However,I passed that way today and the Valerian was in full bloom .It seems to be thriving with the new exposure!
