Soldier Beetle

I had to go into Manchester this morning and from setting off to almost arriving back home it rained, and I've just had time for a quick lunch and an even quicker walk round the garden where I spotted this insect.

When I started being interested in photography I never thought I'd enjoy blipping bugs and insects;  I'm not that good at spotting them but when I do I really enjoy  capturing their tiny faces, and sometimes even their expressions. That may be me just being whimsical, but I do sometimes think I see a "look" of some sort or other.
