Figures Of Speech

I learned a new one today.  "Das geht mir auf die Eier" which we'll politely translate as "that gets on my wick".

We shall draw a veil over today.  I was not a happy camper when I left work.  There were dark mutterings aplenty. 

And in the spirit of "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything", here's a phrase for you "Wenn man nichts nettes zu sagen hat, soll man den Mund halten."
