Wet Poppies

It's been quite wet today. As I stepped out the front door for my tennis lesson this morning I saw it was raining. I'm sure it wasn't raining out the back! The forecast said it wouldn't rain until 10 so I carried on in case it was dry at Ipplepen where the lessons take place.

I took a camera with me and looked in various places but I couldn't find anything to photograph. I had to pop down to the village later and I knew a place where there are usually poppies and there were a few left. They're looking slightly bedraggled in the rain but still providing a little bit of colour on a wet day.
