Ringed plover chick

Another ringed plover chick, see14th June. I cycled down to Scaoa pier to do the beached bird survey. No casualties but lots of live birds feeding on what looked like sand eels- guillemots, razorbills, arctic terns, and different gulls. Two grey seals caught a pretty big fish each. Two minke whales were reported there earlier but I didn't see them. They did leave a note, though. It said...'Hi Gerry Looks like you missed us again! You are the world's worst whale-watcher! Ha Ha, just kidding, but you are pretty inept. Laters! Signed The Whales.
