Not the one that's been in the news so much over the past week, but his brother, John, who surprised us by turning his temporary move to Guiseley toward the end of last season into a permanent one. Here he is warming up at half-time.

After Saturday's rather one-side encounter with Leeds United, tonight's visitors were another of the six Yorkshire clubs that will be competing in the Championship this season, Barnsley. It proved to be a much more even and entertaining game, with some great goals, finishing 3-3. There were again plenty of mystery trialists on show for Guiseley, and some looked like they'd make useful additions. We shall see over the next few weeks.
