Hølbæk

We spent the day exploring our local town. It's a lovely town with a harbour full of old wooden sailing boats. We had a fantastic brunch at cafe Vivaldi - d had a huge plate of fruit while the rest of us had our fill of sausage, bacon, egg, fruit, pastries, mozzarella, tomatoes, cucumber, breads, chocolate cake....
To work off that hygge brunch we walked along the Fjord (this blip is from the walk) and went to the play park. I got chatting to a the Gran of a wee boy that D befriended despite the language barrier. The Gran was a retired teacher with very good English. She invited us back to her house for coffee (the Danes do like their coffee!). We spent a pleasant hour or so chatting about trekking the Annapurna circuit of all things!
