The Opawa River....

Despite the ferocious winter weather further south from here we have not had any snow in this part of Marlborough ....so far. But the strong southeast wind is bitterly cold. I visited a friend who lives outside of Blenheim beside the Opawa River. Here is one of the views from the top of the stopbank looking south towards a neighbouring property. On my way home I visited a garden centre to buy more polyanthus plants for our garden.
