Wildlife Wednesday

Been one of those days today! Hairdresser was here at 8.30am so that wasn't much fun after a poor night of sleep, but lovely to see her and she'd had a bit of a nightmare holiday with friends so needed to rant! We were glad to listen!

And then another friend came round as we help her with fundraising for a certain charity - just a shame that the  charity now think that they know her job (a voluntary position!) better than she does and seems set to lose her services because they 'know' best.  So sad to see so many charities now being run as business and losing the goodwill of people who happily give up their time to help raise funds.  I think another charity will now be gaining a wonderful volunteer and our support too!

So now I'm struggling with a headache and just made a brief pitstop in the garden and was lucky to spot this Ringlet resting on a hydrangea before it flew away!
