Fresh morning

Lovely walk this morning. No rain and a bit fresher than it has been for a few days.

We ( my neighbour and I ) walked through Cottingley woods, which is a plantation which we hear is soon to be cut, so it seemed a good time to go.

Back through the fields seen here where the grasses have yet to be cut. Love these old stone gate posts and I particualary liked the light here on Wilsden Hill in the distance. Met the odd friend in the grass, a cat and later, a very anxious grouse with several young. Luckily they didn't see one another!

Pilates and then a sit in the garden over tea with a friend watching Chris work!
Off to the pub now for the usual Wednesday early doors one or two.
