Day 58 - Lifting

The roof still isn't fully finished, mainly just the section shown in the thumbnail. Waiting for some half tiles but this should be done this week.

Today the electric lift used to heave up the tiles and also anything else that was needed - solar panels, builder's radio and perhaps even on occasions the odd person. However Robert always took the power connections and remote control home with him every evening, so we never got the chance to play with it and never had a ride.

Can't say I am sorry as though who know me also know I am not one for heights. Even the stepladder in the foreground is too much. I did take a liking to electrician Stefan's small wooden stepladder, about half the size of the aluminium one. Even tried hiding it so that he may forget to take it home. Didn't work but we have agreed that he will check whether it has now been written off in the books after probably 20+ years of service. In which case and assuming there is more than 100€ profit for him after our contract, we may be able to strike a deal.
