Chatham

Another trip down to our campuses in Rochester and Maidstone today, to introduce a new project to the staff.

As it was such a beautiful day, I thought I'd go and eat my lunch sitting on a bench at the top of the hill where our Rochester campus overlooks the Chatham dockyards. I didn't stay there for long though - man, it was a cold wind up there! Beautiful view though - I wish I worked somewhere where I could stare out at that every day.

I might give you the view out of my office window tomorrow if I remember - just for the contrast.

Edit: Just been watching Great Train Journeys on the BBC and there is a scene of Michael Portillo standing right where I had my lunch, with this view behind him, talking about the Chatham Historic Docks. What a co-incidence!
