Snowflake

Could be titled 'Lost and Found. Acis roseum aka Leucojum roseum is related to the spring snowflake, Leucojum vernum. Native of Corsica and Sardinia I thought it was lost from my collection after the very cold spell in the winter of 2010/11. However some seed must have remained in the sand plunge (it is easily raised from seed) and recently up popped a flower! It's only a tiny thing, not as big as my little fingernail but beautiful nonetheless.
