What I think about...

Paralympic...

Role Model.

Aileen McGlynn OBE is a Scottish paralympic tandem cyclist. She is partially sighted and has been since birth. She has competed at the Athens, Beijing and London Paralympics amasing 3 golds, 2 silvers and a 1 bronze!

She was at my school today to talk to all the children about being a paralympian. She spoke about overcoming her fears and disability. It was very inspiring to us all, especially the children in my school who themselves have visual impairments.

All the children got a real sense that you can achieve great things when you put your mind to it.

The barriers in which the paralympians overcoming to achieve the things they do is a truly immense feat of achievement and something which inspires me greatly!

Thanks Aileen McGlynn
