Improvements

I still wonder at the wisdom of ripping up perfectly functioning lampposts, digging up pavements and grass verges over several months, risking the integrity of drains and it will take 10 years to break even. Meanwhile libraries close.

Cycle ride was fairly successful today, I covered almost 10 miles mainly on cycle tracks and returned by the same route to avoid the fairly busy main road. It wouldn't be a problem but it's too narrow for the Lorien which use it and the surface is pitted and full of pot hole and poor quality repairs. I've always preferred circular routes but I'm just imagining it's really the distance I'm aiming for ready for going on holiday.
