Barn Owl

I had the opportunity this evening of photographing a Barn Owl as a summer meeting for Buckingham Camera Club.  It is a beautiful bird and was brought to a local churchyard to sit atmospherically on a gravestone (the PC word is actually headstone).  Although it was quite shady there was some evening light coming through illuminating the bird - some reflectors would have made all the difference but I hadn't though to take one with me!  the detail on the feathers is quite incredible.
