Coming Along

Today I focused on Arvin's face. I still have more to do but the painting is coming along nicely. It still feels good to be doing this. It makes me feel warm and happy to be painting us in such a loving way.

I was at open studio today and that was great. It was a small group and as usual everybody painted so well. I love sharing this creative time with my friends.

I called a flooring store and scheduled a visit with them to my new place so they can measure the two bedrooms. I am going to get rid of the wall to wall carpeting and put in engineered hardwood instead. It is a better floor for radiant heat than carpet, and it cleans up quickly and easily. This is a benefit when you have middle aged cats living with you. They seem to choose the carpet when their tummies are not doing well... if you get my drift.

Quiet night tonight. I'm really looking forward to that.
