Punk woodpecker!

We visited Sanibel Lighhbouse on a very  hot morning and I spotted this Pileated Woodpecker high up on an electric post.  He looked as if he was about to start making another huge hole - maybe someone should alert the electric company!

In my extras is the lighthouse keeper's house and a gopher tortoise which was wandering about outside in the heat, and one of the only 'gator we saw while in Florida which resides in our friend's house - made of nuts and bolts!
