Purple storm

Documenting the severe storm battering New Zealand at the moment with dark purple on the temperature blanket. That dark purple is as low as we go on the temperature scale.

Meanwhile I'm sitting in the sunshine in my dress beside the waterway at 6pm and thinking of my poor, cold, unwell family. Not only has Caitlin been struck down with the flu/ear infection/sore throat with high temps all week leading up to the New Zealand Highland Dancing Championships, but now poor hubby has high temps and man flu, sending me all kinds of delirious junk via messenger.
