New Hardware

I had a post surgical appointment with the orthopedic surgeon this afternoon.  Hooray!  They removed the (what felt like) one ton plaster cast, and replaced it with a much more streamlined, lighter weight fiberglass one  in a rather snazzy shade of purple.  The new cast leaves my elbow free, which is such a wonderful feeling!  Here's an X-Ray they took today, showing the reason why I will now have to travel forevermore with a physician's letter in order to get through airport security!  I am rather impressed with my shiny new titanium hardware!
