Winch Cable Drum @ Honister Slate Mine

The spindle at the centre of the wooden drum of the cable winch at Honister Slate Mine.

A little damp up there today, but thankfully - "There's No Such Thing As Bad Weather, Only Different Types of Lighting" ;-) 

However, have learnt valuable lesson about carrying lens cloth in the Lakes !
