Alms

Each morning I pass monks enjoying breakfast at a local chicken restaurant.

Unlike in Laos, where they walk through the city collecting alms in bowls, these monks travel by tuktuk and, having eaten, collect alms in bright orange cotton bags.

I love the respect shown by the young girl the picture.
