Back Tor

Someone has been busy.  This cairn wasn't like that the last time I was out hiking along the Mam Tor - Lose Hill ridge.

I made several mistakes this day and really should have abandoned the walk as soon as I realised.  I parked the car in Castelton and was ready to set off at 06:30am and then realised I'd forgotten my sun block - and I knew it was going to be a hot day - I set off anyway.  Then after a mile or so I knew there was something not quite right with the combination of socks and boots - but I carried on anyway.  And then it was such a nice day that I decided to extend the walk by a further 4 miles - the final big mistake!

Sun burn, badly blister heels ...  All my own fault as well :-(
