Repurposed

We stopped in briefly at the Hotel Henry here in Buffalo, NY.  My husband had heard that this hotel had opened just a few weeks ago and he was quite intrigued because when he was a psych major during his undergraduate years at the University of Buffalo, he had a rotation at this very location when it was a mental institution.  It is a huge structure that was built in the 1890’s and it was a psychiatric hospital until the late 1970’s.  It was the kind of place nightmares are made of, right out of the movies. 

The main part of this huge building has been renovated, decorated and is quite inviting.   This is the restaurant in the hotel.
