Edible marbles

After my blip of green plums on the tree yesterday, today saw me trotting along to a local hedgerow where I had spied these little plums ripening.
So many had split skins. no doubt caused by the very hot spell of weather we have had.  These are so colourful and with plenty of sugar will go very well with some custard!
