Time to say goodbye

We have spent some time today at our youngest granddaughter's final assembly and sports day at the end of her time at a junior school. Now 11 years of age, it is time for her to move on to a secondary school.

It has been an uplifting day, watching her year group conduct their final assembly, the confidence and enthusiasm was remarkable. The work of the teachers and children was evident in the way they worked together and this was amplified as we watched the sports events. We have been fortunate to have a "good" school where all three of our granddaughters have been given a very good start.
