In the Sink

My first attempt at baking in this kitchen showed just how much I'm spoilt for space back in Edinburgh. But mixing the banana bread batter in a salad bowl wedged into the sink worked out well enough. The oven seems to be a bit on the hot side but I sussed that pretty quickly so the end result was fine. No burnt edges! And I can report that the Saudi refugee mixer has adjusted nicely to Bavarian life!!

Took half the loaf around to S's brother this afternoon and there's nary a crumb left. Wee Alexander was there and they were both in fine fettle but I think Alex enjoyed playing with sand and water more than his dad!
